Exclamation Mouse and Keyboard not working after upgrade [Absolute Linux] [Slackware-based]

Hello,

I installed latest Absolute Linux release (Slackware-based: http://www.absolutelinux.org/getting...x.html#updates)

Upgraded in the way described above and now mouse and keyboard don't work in X

I edited runlevel from 4 to 3 from a liveusb and now I can access the system in shell mode, but I don't know what to do :/

Please help, I'm new to Absolute/Slackware, and to diagnosing problems

P.S.: I just had to copy the new kernel to the EFI partition, that solved the problem, everything is working fine now

I think it is a bit lame to pick a username ""absolutelinux" for your first post which concerns Absolute Linux - which is not the real Slackware by the way. You could have picked a better name. I doubt the maintainer of Absolute will be happy to see this.

The Absolute Linux support forum is here: http://www.absolutelinux.org/phpBB/index.php

I assumed people here would be happy to answer questions related to slackware-based distros, maybe I was wrong

The problem is that absolute linux is not Slackware. We have no way of knowing how it has been modified (if at all) from Slackware.
Glad you got it sorted out.
